Should I be allowed to get an eyebrow piercing if its okay with my dad but not my mom?

I am a 15 1/2 year old guy and I want an eyebrow piercing and my dad let's me but my mom says no. She says its only for people "who use drugs and are gang members". She thinks it looks gay but I am almost 16 and I should be able to get it but she doesn't want to let me. Is it such a big deal or something? And should I be able to get it? I'm going to show her the answers to this question to see of I can change her mind. So should I be allowed to get it? I already asked this question but I want as many good answers that I can. If you think I shouldn't get it tell me why and don't just say that I am not old enough or because my mom says so give me a good reason. If you need any pictures ask me for them if you want to see if it will look good on me. I will probably take it out after I graduate high school so I can go to college and get a job. My dad says yes as long as I do work around the house and I do but my mom said " why would I have one of my sons walking around with a piece of metal on theory forehead" I don't understand her its not even that big. And its not a big deal either.
