If i have a cdl and get a dui and.get case dissmissed can i still drive a 18 wheeler?

Yes.. I am a trucker in south Louisiana...If you get arrested for D.W.I. and you go to court and you are found not guilty or charges dropped due to lack of evidence you can still drive. BUT !!!!.....You seriously need to get the arrest record expunged because most trucking companies will find EVERYTHING on your arrest record. Sometimes that will factor in if you get a job with certain companies or not,just a simple arrest record..conviction or not. A cop can arrest you on completely B.S. charges whether or not they have any evidence on you...but the arrest remains there. If you beat it get your lawyer to expunge it ....Hammer Down... if not, I hope you got a damn a good lawyer that knows what up the BEARS sleeves.
